WATER RECLAMATION
Clean and safe water is essential for daily operations and hospitality at large organizations and job sites. Water reuse, also known as water recycling or water reclamation, plays a critical role in providing fresh water for consumption, cleaning and other processes. DUST CONTROL:
Dust control is an important procedure on 99.9% of sites, with common practice tending to use water either applied by large impact sprinklers or water trucks. Source water can vary depending on its original source like, wells, rain water, streams, ponds or even recycled water or runoff. In order to avoid clogging of sprinkler heads or nozzles, a level of filtration is required. Filtering of source water can help to drastically eliminate down time or any unforeseen maintenance.
SAND & SILT REMOVAL:
Removing sand and fine silt from water sources has always been a huge challenge to Oil, Gas and Mining industries. Silt and sand can cause excessive premature wear or damage to expensive machinery and equipment. Large amounts of sand and silt on sites can also cause plugging and build up in pipes, lagoons, ponds and pumps. Preventative water filtration eliminates TSS, in areas where water that is distributed across multiple platforms from open bodies of water, are exposed to the elements.
TAILING POND WATER TREATMENT:
Tailing ponds are used to allow water to be separated from the tailings. Water from the tailing ponds is recycled back into the extraction process, reducing the use of fresh water and lowering operational cost. Depending on the process, lower level filtration or ridding of high-volume solids may be required.
HEAVY METALS RECOVERY:
Different methods have been utilized to remove heavy metals from wastewater, such as membrane filtration, media filters, adsorption and ion exchange. Adsorption is one of the most-efficient processes to clean contaminated water. The adsorption process presents several advantages such as availability, lower cost and eco-friendly nature.
