Sand Media Filters

What Are Sand Media Filters Designed For?

Sand media filters are designed for the removal of organic and inorganic particulates from water sources. The use of sand media filters, or media filters are wide reaching, and are recommended for use in the filtration of irrigation/agricultural industries. Specially designed media filters can be used for industrial, municipal, and commercial applications and utilize unique filtration media to achieve the required levels of filtration per those industries specific filtration requirements. > See multi-media filters for industrial filtration needs.

Everfilt® sand media filters in particular, are constructed from carbon steel or stainless steel materials, utilizing the thickest material in the industry, for long-life and durability of the tank, along with stainless steel underdrains, not PVC like many other systems. This allows for a better filtration functionality and reducing the risk of broken PVC pieces in the system during filtration and filling of filtration media in the media bed. With virtually no moving parts these sand media filters are turn-key, and easy to operate under any condition and any project.
