A-Series Activated Carbon Media Filtration Systems utilize GAC Granular Activated Carbon as its source for media filtration, a layer of a gravel base covering and protecting the 304SS stainless steel wedge wire underdrains. For specialty projects, Everfilt® will provide custom media packs to meet clients' project needs. The A-Series is designed with features in mind to make day-to-day operations simple. Large side access manways for easy access to interior of each vessel, removable 304SS stainless steel wedge wire underdrains, heavy-duty skids with D-rings for securing, pneumatic or hydraulic valve operation, fabricated backwash manifolds, 3M-134 NSF-Approved interior coating and heavy-duty fuze coated exterior coating with UV resistant additive are key features of the A-Series Activated Carbon Media Filtration Systems. Large rear-facing cam-loc connection allows for simplified filling of carbon media as well as a lower connection for easy removal if a vacuum pump is required.
